Technology Vixen: New career choice for me?

The strip above is from the webcomic PvP.

(Note: Be sure to click on the strip in order to see all of it)

That storyline starts here so that you can follow it for the rest of the week.

Soooo.... What do you think? A possible side job for yours truly? Or should I just take the - ahem - plunge?

It just goes to show that boobs are magnets for attention. By the way, I think the 70/30 split is totally acceptable, for the reasons Miranda listed above. Tech geeks come a dime a dozen, but who would pay to see your average male techie? Nope, the ol' sex appeal is what's going to lure them in.

Bwahahahahaha!

Weird clouds over Texas!

CCheck out these clouds that were in the sky over Texas yesterday! Wow! It's like some special effects that you'd see in a movie!

Spiderman to the rescue!

Starting with this blog entry will be a section that I'll call Real Life Superheroes. Basically, I'll post stories of ordinary people who do extraordinary things to help others. I'll flesh this out more as I go along. In the meantime, let's start with this story:

Thai fireman in 'spiderman' rescue of autistic boy.

In WoW, even librarians kick ass!

Whoa! Check out what I found while doing some WoW research!

If real librarians ever got these, overdue books would be a thing of the past! LOL

Be sure to check out the two screen shots to see the blades.

I have Pieces of Flair on Facebook

Those of you who are my "friends" on Facebook should have received two "Flair" buttons from me. I came across this application which allows you to post buttons on a corkboard! I thought it was so cool! Anyway, go check it out and I'll add more buttons later.

"Only in a Woman's World" show

Um, I'm trying to decide how I feel about this upcoming show...

On the one hand, it's good to see a show with a largely female cast (even if they're cartoon characters), but on the other hand, they're largely stereotypes. What do you think? I think I need to see more first.

The Watchmen

Confession time: I have never read The Watchmen. (blushing)

I know, I know - what kind of comics nerd has never read The Watchmen? Tell ya what: This weekend, I'll go look for it and buy it. Then after I read it, I'll let you know what I think of it. I got to thinking about this when the movie version of it came out. Before I go see the movie, I probably should read the book first, yes?

Anyway, you guys all have a great weekend, and we'll see you back here on Tuesday.

Bye! :-)
