I'm baaaaack.....!

I'm baaaaack....!

Hey, gang! I'm back, tanned, rested and ready! I really enjoyed my rest, and the boss was correct in my taking a little break!

Later in the week I shall update you on the goings-on in my neck of the woods, including some changes that we agreed upon in regards to the comic. One thing that I'll say now is that I will try to stick to a Monday/Wednesday/Friday format, unless a given topic generates a lot of commentary, or some special issue pops up that I want to deal with here. In the latter instances, we'll play it by ear.

Today, however, I just want to remind all of my American readers to go do their civic duty tomorrow by going to vote! If you CAN vote, GO vote! No excuses!

Oh, and one last thing: I didn't play WoW as much as I thought I was going to during my respite, but do me a favor if you plan to join me there. Send me one of those Azeroth mails so that I know who you are. This allows me to add you to my list of friends. That way I can keep track of you when you log on.

See you all Wednesday!

I agree. Vote! I did in the third federal Canadian Election (October 14, 2008). The third federal election since 2004.

Unfortunately for us, voter turnout was extremely low compared to 2006. As well, we are stuck with a miniority government. We are stuck with Conservative party leader Steven Harper at the helm again. The good news is that the Liberals, NDPs, and Bloc de Qubecois are again have control on the the decisions that go before Parliament.

Everyone can make a difference. I look forward to watching the U.S. Election coverage tomorrow at 8:00 p.m..

If Barack Obama wins, it will mean that it possible for ANYONE regardless of who you are to represent your country.

Until the votes are verified by the lawyers, I wanted to share this comment from an article with the results of the U.S. Presidential Election 2008. Very exciting!! Now I know that the new President WILL NOT solve all the problems your country is facing. It is everyone's responsibility to make a change for the better.

I am an American, there are many times during the past eight years I wanted to move to the great country of Canada. I had lost hope in the United States of America. We have made progress and my 89 year old great grandmother can see we can reclaim the American Dream. We can work with our neighbors and enemies. Let us take our best foot forward and not look back upon the 8 dark years of the Bush era. Let us thank Bush, because if we did not have Bush, we can see our flaws, wounds, and ignorance. So to our cousins up north (Canadians)... Yes We Can.
