My congratulations to President Obama

Some people I know in real life thought that I could never get the words "President Obama" past my lips. I told them, "Why not?".

Granted, I didn't vote for him because he holds views that I am totally opposed to, but he won the election, and because of that, he is technically now my boss because the Dept. of Superhuman Studies is a branch of the U.S. government.

President Obama.

See? I can say it.

I can honestly say that I wish him well and that I will pray that he leads this nation to better and better things. There are some of his views that I will oppose if they come up, of course, but if he needs my services as a superhero, I'll certainly come do what I can. I am professional enough to separate my duty as an American and my personal opinions of the man.

Give me some credit for professionalism! :-D

And because I know someone out there in particular is wondering this, then I'll say it here: I still want the day that I say "President Palin" to come to pass. Now that's a president I can support!

When it comes to politics, regardless if you are American or not, there will be politicians that you will not agree with. That’s fine and that is nothing to be ashamed of.

I am happy that your country has taken the first step towards a better future. I was very emotional while watching the inauguration. For the first time in history, people in your country can truly say ‘you can be anything you want to be’.

With that note there may be a possibility for Sarah Palin to become commander in chief in the future. At this present time it’s hard to say.

As I explained to my dad, Barrack Hussein Obama is not Superman. These problems that are taking place in your country will take years to resolve, but the important thing is that the man has taken the responsibility to solve them.

The American people also have a responsibility to make sure that the decisions of certain individuals do not repeat again. The economy, the state of social infrastructure, health care, foreign policy, and the Wars in Iraq, the Gaza Strip, and Afghanistan will take top priority.

The man will make mistakes, but there will be people to help him along the way. America will change for the better. Racism will never go away; it exists everywhere as it is part of human nature. I believe the doors will continue to open with the international community.

The two Americas – Left, Right, Liberal, or Conservative have come together on Tuesday. Yes, I agree that there will still be disagreements, but I believe that the two sides have come to a mutual understanding.

Congratulations to Mr. Obama on his presidency.

Yeah! February 19th is "OVO 2009". What is OVO 2009 you ask, it is "Obama Visits Ottawa 2009".

Just so everybody knows, President Obama will be visiting the capital city of Canada. Very exciting.
